Data Protection

1. General information on data processing

1.1 Scope of the processing of personal data

Our processing of personal data of our users is limited to those data that are necessary for the provision of a functional website and our content and services. The processing of personal data of our users is only carried out for the purposes agreed with them or if there is another legal basis (in the sense of the DSGVO). Only such personal data is collected that is actually required for the implementation and processing of our tasks and services or that you have voluntarily provided to us.

1.2 Your rights (data subject rights)

You have the right to request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you can request information about the processing purposes, the categories of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data have been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, data transfer (unless disproportionate effort is caused in the case of data transfer), the origin of your data if it has not been collected by us, and the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling. You also have the right to revoke any consent you may have given to use your personal data at any time. If you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data by us is in conflict with the applicable data protection provisions, you have the possibility to complain to the data protection authority.

2. Description and scope of data processing

2.1 Provision of the website

Our website uses “Google Analytics”, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94.043 USA, to evaluate website usage. Google Analytics uses cookies (see point 2.), which are stored on your computer. The information contained therein about the website and internet usage of the visitor can be processed and evaluated by Google. The data collected by Google may be transferred by Google to countries outside the EU and the EEA, in particular the USA. However, Google has submitted to the Privacy Shield Framework. More information on your rights arising from this can be found at http://ec.europa.eu/justice/data-protection/document/citizens-guide_en.pdf. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

2.2 Cookies

We use cookies on our website to make our offer user-friendly. Cookies are small files that are automatically created by your browser and stored on your terminal device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. The cookies remain stored until you delete them. This allows us to recognize your browser on your next visit. If you do not wish this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you allow them in individual cases. However, we would like to point out that deactivation will mean that you will not be able to use all the functions of our website. The legal basis for the data processed by cookies is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

2.3 Contact form

If you fill out a contact form or send us an email or other electronic message, your information will only be stored for processing the request, possible related further questions, and will only be used in the context of the request. The legal basis for processing your request is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b DSGVO. We will delete your e-mail address after your request has been dealt with.

2.4 Newsletter

If you sign up for our newsletter, we will immediately send an e-mail to the e-mail address provided, which contains a hyperlink. By clicking on this link, you confirm your newsletter registration (double opt-in procedure). If this registration confirmation is not received within 7 working days, we will delete the e-mail address from our temporary list again and registration will not have taken place. If you confirm the newsletter registration, you give your consent to the storage of your e-mail address including the date of registration, IP address and the list name of the desired newsletter. We use your e-mail address and the personal data collected at the same time, such as username, only for the administration and sending of the newsletter you requested, at the periodicity specified during registration. Our newsletters do not contain obvious or hidden counters, third party advertising or links to external sites that are not directly related to the content of our newsletter. Each newsletter contains a note on how to unsubscribe from the newsletter.

2.5 Online store

To place orders in our online store, you must register once and set a user name and a personal password. On future visits to our website, you can log in with your user name and password and do not have to re-enter your address and payment information for each order transaction. Your password is stored in encrypted form and cannot be viewed by us. When registering, you must provide your name, address, email address and details of the payment method you wish to use. In order for us to store this registration data (as your personal customer account), your express consent is required. At the appropriate place on the registration page, we first inform you comprehensively about the purpose and scope of data processing. You can then give your declaration of consent by activating a checkbox. Your declaration of consent is logged by us; in doing so, we store the user account name, the corresponding location on the website, as well as the date and time.

You have the option of informally revoking your declaration of consent at any time. The revocation is to be addressed and sent to info@lampertcigars.com. The data of your orders will also be stored in your customer account. We use the personal data collected during registration and ordering exclusively for the proper processing of your order.

You can view and change the data in your customer account, such as the payment method and delivery address you have selected, at any time. If you update information, we keep a copy of your original information stored to clarify any issues between you and us. You can object to the use of the data for the purpose just mentioned at any time. In this case, a new complete registration is required for each order. The objection must be addressed and sent to info@lampertcigars.com. All data that we do not have to keep due to legal regulations, e.g. in accounting, will be deleted as soon as the order is completed. You have the option to delete your customer account at any time as soon as no order is open.

2.6 Social plugins (e.g. Facebook, Instagram etc.)

All integrated social plugins work via the 2-click method; this means that the recording of your surfing behavior by a plugin only starts when you activate the corresponding plugin by clicking on it in the first place. If you are logged in with your Facebook account at the same time as visiting our website, for example, Facebook registers the page visit after activating the plugin (first click) and can assign this visit to your user account.
